doin' it old skool

so this is how i used to do it:
take any old mirror
hold it up
and draw
of course,
there is always the issue of a shifting POV
but clearly i am more comfortable with this format

i don't like the coloring book aspect
i tend to draw and then fill in with paint
i think overall i am trying to accomplish 2 things:
a more fluid line
and
the ability to start with the form and then build in the detail.

i also find myself to be very impatient
